A simple blueberry crisp recipe for an easy summer dessert that is loaded with fresh blueberries and topped with a buttery crunch.

Ingredients
4cupsBlueberriesfresh
3/4 cupButtersoftened
1 1/2cupsOatsquick or old-fashioned
1cupFlour
1 1/2 cupsBrown Sugar
1 1/2tspsCinnamonground
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
Remove any stems from the blueberries. Rinse.
Place the blueberries in the bottom of a 8” x 8” baking dish or a 9” pie dish.
In a medium mixing bowl, combine the oats, flour, brown sugar, and ground cinnamon.
Add the softened butter.
Mix completely.
Sprinkle the mixture on top of the blueberries, making sure to cover them all.
Bake until the top has crisped and the edges are bubbly. I usually bake it for around 20-25 minutes. Oven times vary though! Please keep an eye on your blueberry crisp as it bakes.
Let cool some.
Enjoy with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top, a side of whipped cream, or on its own.
Notes
If you have leftovers, cover and store in the fridge for up to 5 days. In my experience, everyone DEVOURS it on the same day it's served or the next.
