How to make Strawberry Matcha Latte at home in minutes. The combination of earthy matcha and fresh strawberries makes a truly refreshing drink that’s the perfect summer morning latte or afternoon pick-me-up throughout the year.
Wash strawberries and remove stems. Chop into small chunks.
Place chopped strawberries and sweetener into a small bowl. Mash with the back of a fork. For a smoother consistency, use a blender or food processor to puree the strawberries and sweetener. Set aside.
In a separate small bowl, mug, or glass, combine matcha powder and water. The easiest way is with a milk frother. If using a whisk, spoon, or mason jar (see post for details), use hot water to combine with the matcha. Set aside.
In a 16 oz glass, add the strawberry puree.
Add ice cubes.
Pour the milk over the ice cubes.
Slowly pour the matcha shot over the rest of the drink.
