Ingredients
1cupSemi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
1 cupDark Chocolate Chips
14ozSweetened Condensed Milk
1tspPeppermint Extract
3TbspChristmas Sprinkles
Instructions
Prepare an 8” x 8” or 9” x 9” baking dish with parchment paper. Allow the parchment paper to overhang on two sides of the dish. These can be used as “handles” to lift the fudge out of the dish once it is set and ready to be sliced.
In a medium saucepan, combine semi-sweet chocolate chips, dark chocolate chips, and sweetened condensed milk.
Heat over low to medium heat, stirring constantly, until the chocolate is almost completely melted.
Remove from heat and stir until the chocolate mixture is smooth.
Stir in peppermint extract.
Immediately pour the fudge mixture into the prepared pan. It starts to set quickly. Gently smooth out the fudge with a rubber spatula or butter knife.
While still warm, spread the Christmas sprinkles on top of the fudge. Gently press them into the fudge a little. This helps them to stay on later.
Put in the fridge for at least two hours or until firm.
Once set, remove the Christmas fudge from the fridge and lift it out of the pan with the overhanging parchment paper.
