Prepare the espresso or coffee and set aside to cool, if needed. (Putting it in the fridge helps).
Wash strawberries and remove the stems. Chop into small chunks.
Place the chopped strawberries and the sweetener of your choice in a small bowl. Mash with the back of a fork until nice and juicy. For a smoother consistency, use a blender or food processor to puree the strawberries and sweetener.
Add the homemade strawberry puree to a 16 oz (or bigger) serving glass.
Put ice cubes on top of the strawberry mixture.
Pour the milk of your choice on top of the ice cubes in the glass.
Add the espresso or coffee on top.
For pretty layers, don’t mix until right before drinking. Enjoy!
